Adena Logo
Adena Corporation, established in 1982, is one of Central Ohio's largest General Contractors. Located on an 8-acre complex in Mansfield, Ohio, we employ approximately 150 craftsmen with a self-performing capability of rough & finish carpentry, building foundations, masonry, concrete flat work, and steel erection. We have developed an expertise in the installation of steel roller coasters and resort style water parks. Adena has its own steel fabrication shop located within its Mansfield complex. This allows us to better control the schedule, cost, and quality of our projects, thus bringing more value to our customers. We have completed a variety of commercial, industrial, institutional and healthcare projects throughout the state of Ohio and surrounding states. We are honored to have built well over 60 stores/super centers for Wal-Mart and have been privileged to build new schools to help prepare Ohio's future leaders.

Adena's technical capabilities center on our in-house computer servers and construction software. Our estimators use Timberline software that is construction specific and enables us to produce accurate construction estimates and design budgets. Our project managers use Expedition project management software. It is used to monitor that status of Requests for Information (RFI's), project contact information, job costs, submittal status and change order requests and generates our subcontracts and purchase orders. Adena uses Primavera/Suretrak and Microsoft Project for creating schedules and monitoring project progress.

Through Adena Corporation's password protected website, vendors have the ability to download information. Current project documents are scanned and stored on our servers. Vendors are able to view and print these documents at their location, thereby saving printing costs normally assumed by the owner or his architect.

Our job sites are connected to Adena Corporation's home office through an ISP connection at the job site trailer. This connection allows for continuous communication and flow of information between the job site and all other members of the project team.

Adena complies with all federal, state and local requirements. We maintain a Mansfield contractor's license.

We currently have two U.S. Department of Labor approved apprenticeship programs. These programs are in partnership with the Central Ohio ABC Chapter and Pioneer Career & Technology Center. Not only does this help us maintain a trained workforce, the apprenticeship ensures that Adena's quality standards and expectations are ingrained into our workforce. Quality is not an event; it is an attitude and process that is incorporated into every project we build.
